When my husband and I first met, he pursued me and I was very cautious of him. He was persistent and always had a smile. We have celebrated 27 years of marriage and god has blessed our commitment to each other. We’ve had many challenges along the way, our greatest being family and finances. We are still learning the needs and sensitivities of each other because we are continually changing. Everyday we say I love you to each other and try to help any way we can. We pray with and for each other. We are friends and realize that we are on the same team. We win together. If we have high are low moments we try to be encouraging and supportive. If he is not what I always want him to be I try to be patient. Sometimes there are moments when we clash but he is usually the first to say I’m sorry. We laugh a lot and reminisce about our first love and always make time to make new memories. We serve each other and try to be good to one another. We can see the goodness of God in our marriage, and to God be the glory.
